About Flynt
Flynt exists for the person who already knows SQL — the analyst, the technical founder, the data-literate ops lead — and is tired of choosing between a heavyweight BI rollout and a screenshot of a query result.
The idea
Modern BI platforms make you model first and design last: semantic layers, certified datasets, a ticket queue. Flynt inverts that. You write one direct SQL query; the result becomes a cached dataset; polished dashboards are designed on top of it in minutes. The governance that normally arrives with the expensive tool — caching schedules, certification, a data dictionary, roles, audit — is built in from day one, so you do not outgrow Flynt at the first compliance question.
The name
Flynt is flint plus data. Our mark is the Flint Chip: a knapped-stone outline with a flame struck out of it. The spark lives inside the stone — the answer is already in your data; Flynt is the strike.
European by default
Flynt is built and operated from Ireland. EU data residency is the default for every plan, not an enterprise add-on. We think Europe deserves a credible alternative to defaulting analytics to US-hosted platforms, and we are building it.
